CEF Construction Awards Showcase

FLYNN attended the CEF Construction Excellence Awards Showcase in the Mac where the launch received some positive words from Stephen Peover, Permanent Secretary for the Department of Finance and Personnel.

He alluded to the tentative signs of recovery in the NI economy and the continuing importance of construction (a sector twice the size of that of agriculture as he remarked).

The Chief Executive of CEF John Armstrong built upon these comments stating that he believed the sector was on the turn and that there was a new optimism about the prospects for recovery. He then formally inviting guests to view the shortlisted entries and looked forward the awards gala in September when the winners will be announced .

In this, our first year entering these awards, FLYNN have been shortlisted in every category entered, for 4 awards this year including Health Facility (SEHSCT Bangor Hospital), Community Facility (PSNI Memorial Garden), for our Training and our Health & Safety
