FLYNN were proud to be presented with the Health & Wellbeing award at the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce’s Regional Business Awards. The award is recognition of the innovation and effort made by FLYNN HR and H&S departments to develop what we call FLYNN-Boost, an integrated strategy to assist our people avail of lifestyle improvement opportunities. Flynn developed a ‘Boost’ initiative for their employees and contractors focused on seven activators, including physical activity, stress and mental health. Analysis of the initiative showed reduced absenteeism, reduced recruitment costs, improved moral, better succession planning, better communication, reduced injuries and improved financial performance.
